There were some truly beautiful custom homes in the Tampa Bay Parade of Homes for 2008, so I’m sure the judges had a heck of a time choosing the winners.  There are a lot of very talented custom home builders in FL.  But if you’ve seen the homes, I think you’ll probably agree with me when I say that the judges did an excellent job of narrowing down the selections and choosing deserving winners.

With the real estate market in Florida still benefitting from the patronage of foreign buyers and investors, and many baby boomers looking for vacation and retirement homes in the area, luxury home builders in FL are quite in demand.  Florida is the perfect setting for beautiful custom homes, and therefore FL custom luxury home builders are getting plenty of business.

If you have a chance, look up the beautiful custom homes that were in this year’s Tampa Bay Parade of Homes.  Even if you know you can’t afford — and could never afford — homes like that, window shopping can be a lot of fun.  And besides, this is such a major community event that it’s worth checking out for that reason too!
