One of the things about being willing to date a large number of people that you meet on online dating sites is that you get to meet a whole lot of different types of people. To skip to the end of our story, we didn’t last long. There were too many differences between us. In prior relationships, the ending had always been long and drawn out and emotional. In this one, it was succinct and fairly easy. Sad, but easy. And I think that’s because his job had taught him how to work through problems in a calm and rational manner. It’s something that I was able to take away from the failed relationship and apply to making other connections work better.
